Are you new to this Blog?

The impact of family tragedy can be felt through future generations. Oft times family members struggle not knowing the roots of of their struggle. Confusion and frustration result. The time for understanding is now. At the request for "family history" from a sweet niece I write. I write in hopes that as understanding increases, future generations will break from any negative impact of those things we have experienced.

I also realize that our family is not alone. Life is tough! I pray that all who share in my story will find strength to meet their personal challenges and see the possibilities to be free of shackles that may bind.

"Verily I say unto you my friends, fear not, let your hearts be comforted; yea, rejoice evermore, and in everything give thanks; Waiting patiently on the Lord, for your prayers have entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth, . . . Therefore, he giveth this promise unto you, . . . and all things wherewith you have been afflicted shall work together for your good, and to my name’s glory, saith the Lord."  Doctrine & Covenants 98:1-3
